l’ordinaire

Randonneur/Light Bikepacking/Touring.
The bike everyone needs, but doesn’t realize it (yet).

The newest oldest horse in the stable.  Randonneur bikes were born of the Concours de Machines competitions that stressed technology, light weight, reliability and self-sustainability.  CdM rules required cycles be practical - fendered, have generator lights, carry pumps, and be durable and light enough to withstand the competition’s long rigorous mixed surface racing trials.  As a nod to this heritage, l’ordinaire boasts original Herse/Singer geometries, is 650B specific, and built for mechanical or electronic shifting.  A perfect tourer, everyday bike, or doff the fenders and put on fat tires and it’s a bikepacker. The everyday bike that your friends will want to borrow come the zombie apocalypse.  An extraordinary machine, so of course we named it ‘the ordinary’.
